Do you know any local Jewish or Israeli-American young professionals ages 25-45 who should be part of our community? If so, we must tell you about our new ILC Young Division program- BINA LA.
BINA LA is a platform for young community members who are pushing the envelop in many fields such as science, arts, business, academia, technology, marketing, entertainment, innovation and more. The goal of BINA is to bridge the gap between Israeli-Americans and Jewish-Americans while showcasing the expertise of this young generation in a high paced, energetic and social setting.
Held once a month, BINA is a fast-paced, thought-provoking evening where different Jewish young professionals in the community inspire their fellow cohorts with new ideas, while building a community around discussions and innovations. The program includes six presenters who take to the stage for six minutes each to present their expert topic and follow with a question and answer session with the audience.
Presenters have ranged from experts on social media to psychology to marketing. Topics have included “$100,000 of Brand Strategy Advice,” “Reinvent Your Sex Life,” and “WHY People Lie.” BINA also offers special performances, which have included Yafit Josephson of her one woman show “New Eyes” and comedian Avi Liberman. Along with the intellectually stimulating part of the evening, guests also enjoy the social part and mingle over complimentary wine and food.
Since BINA has begun, the demand for it has grown tremendously. With each event sold out at capacity, attendance doubling from the first event from 100 to 200 within 3 months, more and more Israeli- Americans and Jewish-Americans cannot get enough of BINA. This innovative program showcases the brainpower and talent of our young community. The next BINA events are Wednesday, November 17 and Wednesday, December 12.
